How to give a second person Face ID-based access on your iPhone iPhone X, XR, XS, and XS Max.

Users of the iPhone X haven’t been able to give a second person  Face ID-based access until iOS12.  Now, users can easily add a second person, or as Apple calls it (alternate appearance).

 To add the alternate appearance go to 

  •  Settings 
  •  Face ID & Passcode
  •  Enter your passcode and tap Set Up an Alternate Appearance. 
  • Then hand your iPhone to the other person and go through the setup
